Syed Safdar Abbas Zaidi

Syed Safdar Abbas Zaidi is a Pakistani Shia noha khwan, a reciter of nohay (elegiac poems that mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussain and his companions at Karbala). His recitations are shared through his official YouTube channel and are performed during the Shia mourning months of Muharram and Safar. He is known primarily as a performing reciter rather than a scholar, and detailed biographical information about him is not documented in encyclopedic sources. He should not be confused with other individuals named Safdar Abbas, such as the former Pakistani field hockey player of the same name.
